Une image très étrange lui apparut soudain : il n’en comprit pas la signification. Cet homme au chapeau, planté au milieu de nulle part, d’une immobilité inquiétante, semblait vouloir lui faire comprendre quelque chose. Mais quoi ? Il s’attarda quelques instant pour tenter de distinguer quelqu’un de son entourage mais il ne reconnut personne. Etait-ce lui ?
